Welcome weary surfer, to the bloody funny Epic of Gilgamesh.
This is a MUSICAL Epic, so in order to hear the all-original Mesopotamian music you will need to set your speakers to "ON." The songs may take a minute to load, but they're worth the wait! Here, YOU get the chance to be Gilgamesh! Lord it over the people as Gilgamesh the King of Uruk, smash evil monsters, make love to beautiful women, defy the gods, search for eternal life or simply laze around in your palace drinking fine wine whilst being fanned with a peacock feather.
Or, you may prefer to play the part of Enkidu - the beautiful Wildman! Walk with the animals, talk with the animals, run naked through the long grass with the wind blowing through your hair, free from all silly civilized trappings.
And ladies, please don't worry, you'll no doubt make much better heroes than the guys will, you have more brains for starters. All you have to do is read the story and click on the links at the bottom of the page to choose what you want to do next. So, the first decision you need to make is - do you want to be Gilgamesh or do you want to be Enkidu? Good luck!
